ZENTANGLE - ZAI - Weekly DIVA Challenge #193

"CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) Holly Atwater filled in for the Diva in setting forth this week’s challenge. She asked us to do a “Tritangle”, using the following tangles:

Trio (pattern by CZT, Hanny Waldburger)
Huggins (by Zentangle)
Xyp (by Zentangle)"

At first It was difficult for me combine these 3 tangles.  Sea and shells inspired  me ! It was the first time i used these patterns.
I had to make several preliminary tests before succeed in drawing the pattern 'Trio'.
I chose not to watch the drawings already published on the page to avoid to be influenced or discouraged. Now I can discover it with pleasure!

  5. Your tile is really 3 dimensional. I also had to work with Trio a lot and I'm still not even sure I conquered it. Nice job!

  12. I agree it is better to not see what others do first...I struggled and practiced, but more needs to be done. Yours is beautiful! Love your use of light and dark!

  14. Beautiful tile! Your composition has such lovely balance. Your Trio shells are gorgeous as are all the tangles. It's wonderful how you created several tangleations of the patterns in your tile. I just LOVE it! THX for participating!

  15. Nice job on this tile. I also do not like to look at others until I have at least started mine. Like your Xyp grid.
